Accessibility

This website aims to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the standard referenced by Ontario's Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.

What we do

• Every page has a skip link, one main heading and landmark regions for the header, navigation, content and footer.
• All controls work with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator; menus announce whether they are open.
• Text keeps at least a 4.5:1 contrast ratio and reflows at 400% zoom without horizontal scrolling.
• Before-and-after photos are shown side by side, each with a text description.
• Animation is turned off when your device asks for reduced motion.
• Forms describe errors in text next to the field.

Known limitations

Some older articles contain images with limited descriptions; they are being updated as they are reviewed. Third-party services linked from this site (Google Maps, review platforms) have their own accessibility standards.
